Adrian Pflugshaupt studied Jazz saxophone with George Garzone, Jane Ira Bloom and Nat Su at the Jazz School of Lucerne and the New School in New York. He toured with the Gil Evans Orchestra, the George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band, the European Jazz Youth Orchestra, Udo Jürgens, etc. He currently plays lead alto in the Swiss Jazz Orchestra and tenor saxophone in the Zürich Jazz Orchestra as well as participating in various jazz combos like Beat Keller <br>
Graduate of the Swiss Jazz Scool in Berne. Played in a variety of combos and Big bands, both as leader and sideman, Concerts and CD releases with his own jazz quartet, quintet, nonet. Created several projects in the area of classic jazz, legends set to music, theatre music, multimedia cross-over, sampling and live-electronic. Commissions for theatre music, Kompositionsaufträge für Schauspielmusik, radio plays for radio DRS, festivals (Alpentöne 03/Szenenwechsel/Kunsttreff 13). Concerts with Joe Lovano, Michael Brecker, Eric Truffaz and others. Current trio Peyer/Weber/Stoffner. Recipient of prizes of the city of Zurich. <br>
